i have a NEC multisync 75 monitor with ATI xpert2000(business machine)Duron 800 ECS mobo, just recently started to have boot problems with the video, intermittently the computer will boot without the monitor turning on, i usually dont turn off the power switch, and it goes into standby. (no beep codes) when i unscrew the monitor connector and wiggle it around i can reboot with a screen a few times, so if its a bad connection, is there a gel i can put on the pins to fix it? and if it doesnt sound like a connection would it more likely be the monitor or the card? thanks
