WTF? Where did the Geforce4 ti 4200 go? I noticed that Nvidia has removed the specs for this card from their website? I guess they didn't want to lose their butts on the Geforce 4 MX and Geforce 3 cards, since the Geforce 4 ti4200 was supposed to be faster than a Geforce3 ti500 and only retail at $199!

Personally I never saw the 4200 mentioned in nVidia's site - only in independent hardware news sites.
Obviously that the company is milking the market with their 4400 and 4600 while getting rid of GF3 stock, before introducing the 4200 - we'll have to wait a few more weeks.

Nvidia will release the GF4 MX460 in the place of the Ti4200. Remember nvidia wants to give ATi a whole its called sucide. Like i said before nvidia is starting to act like intel. Celerons are not that great and the P4 costs alot. you have a void that AMD filled in its called midrange.

THGC, saving 1 pc user from buying a GeForce4 MX at a time.

Indeed the Mx line is crap. But, AFAIK nVidia didn't quit launching the GF4 4200 - and didn't postpone it either - the late launch is planned.
IMHO, to ATi to seize the opportunity they must put out a card that matchs the 4400 speed - or at least the forthcoming 4200. A good way out would be to implement a new and more performant FSAA mode (while keeping the quality up), as in anisotropic filtering (whatever), they rule.
