What is everyones opinion about DEX coolant?

I just bought a 1997 Chevy Malibu with a 3.1 V6 with 147,000 miles on it. The coolant needs to be flushed out and replaced. I am debating about changing the Dex coolant with the reg green based coolant because of all the negatives opinions on Dex coolant. Let me know what ya think.

Not a fan of Dex.

I just flushed my Silverado.........Tech guy at dealership (friend) said DUMP DEX ASAP
and get good ole Prestone Green.......
So far no issues
