I installed Norton Internet Security 2002 on my laptop. Now I'm wondering, since there's a 2004 version out already, is 2002 new enough to keep my laptop safe? I really wouldn't want to invest so much money because of some small adjustments. Thanks for any help in advance.

If you can get the Norton updates you will be fine. It will be brought up to level of 2004. However, if you don't have access to the updates you may be suseptible to more recent viri.

If you can't get the updates (i.e., you don't have a subscription because its expired - one year free after purchase may have expired already), Go get AVG or another free downloadable Antivirus program.
