Hi can anyone help me out here I need to do an insurance valuation for a
friend and I just need to know the origianl selling price for a Dell
Latitude CPi A with 400meg cpu 128 meg ram a rough guide will do and approx
date when they stopped making these

If you have the service tag, go to Dell Support, login
and you can look up the shipped configuration and shipping date.
The last BIOS update was 12/2001 so it was discontinued before that
date.

My old Latitude LS H400ST (400Mhz+64Mb Ram) bought in March 2000 cost
GBP 1,699.00 + VAT. I upgraded the ram separately. Somewhere I've got
all the paperwork and brochure from that time but IIRC the CPi A was no
longer made then.

There's several on eBay right now.
One is on for $30 (no bids), another at $5 (2 bids), another at $5.50 (4
bids) and another has a buy-it-now for $200 (refurbished like new).
