hi, i know this group is not for posting this but i dont know anywhere to
post it so... IF any people had experiences with FREEDOS before so can you
please help?

hi, im currently practising using freedos in my school and i have a problem
which i dont know how to solve so can anyone please help me?

here's a problem im stuck with

1. Execute a command to graphically dispplay the directory structure and all
files in all directories, and redirect the output.

A:\_______________________ Redirect output to LAB2XX4.TXT

The "XX" stands for my initials.

This is what i PUT in the freedos command >TREE DIR > LAB2PD4.TXT
AM I CORRECT?

what is it mean to redirect it? what do i need to redirect?

problem two
2. Using only one command, copy the file WELCOME.TXT from the CUSTOMER
directory to LETTERS directory. By the way the customer and letters
directory is already created.

A:\__________________________ Redirect output to LAB2XX6.TXT

What do i have to redirect. What command stands for redirect?
This is what i put in the freedos command.

>COPY\LETTERS\CUSTOMER\WELCOME.TXT => \LETTERS\WELCOME.TXT am i correct? but
>after the blank space it says redirect output to LAB2XX6.txt what this
>suppose to mean? It is simply i have to type in DIR > LAB2XX6.TXT after
>\LETTERS\WELCOME.TXT?

THANK YOU PLEASE TRY TO HELP.
