That's an excellent score assuming it's on the default settings.

Also, would please list your system specs?

i'm assuming i have used default setting since i didn't change anything but increase 16 tests to 21 tests...

i have..
xp 1700 @ 1900
windows xp pro
2 x Crucial 256 mb ddr
epox 8kha+
radeon 8500 64mb retail
fsb currently @ 146
r8500 core/mem 279/279 (just overclocked .. )

my new score after OC from 270 to 279 is 8919.
i tried 299/299.. but it failed to complete all tests ..

should i turn on antialiasing?

No, 3DMark2001 is only a benchmark, you don't need to do anything.

no i mean like .. in display and CPU setting..
you can change resolution color depth, frame buffer, rendering pipeline.. stuffs like that..

is it best to leave those at default setting?
