Hercules Vs. Nvidia

Hi. A friend told me that (Hercules 3DProhet FDX 8500LE 64Mb DDR TV-out) is better than (Nvidias GForce 3 Ti 500).
I cant find any tests from the Hercules card. Please could somebody help me with this. Thankyou

Just check out the 8500 benchmarks. Keep in mind, that they are about 5-10% faster now with the newer drivers (V6052 for 2K/XP). The 8500 outperforms the Geforce 3 Ti500 now quite easily, and still has plenty of potential.

Thanks a lot Bronk. But I dont know if I should have a 8500 Le or a 8500 Ti. Is 8500 Ti faster?

Never heard of the 8500 TI, however, if you mean the 8500 retail, then yes, it is better than the LE (LE clocked at 250/250, retail clocked at 275/275). I'd wait for the Gigabyte card to hit the stores and see the price on it. It has a great heatsink and fast memory, so should overclock better than the standard retail.
