ATI driver question

I purchase a radeon 8500, I have read a lot of post concerning the driver with the 8500, are the most current drivers listed on the ATI's site? if so which version should I download or do I need to go the the actual card manufactures site Apollo and download the latest from there? (yeah I purchased off from the low bidder listed on pricewatch I thought it was an ATI made card grr should have figured it was a generic)

Finally I have also read that ATI has the card clocked a bit conservative, where is the utility to OC the card or should I not do this with the generic?

For drivers check with guru3d.com or rage3d.com. As for a graphic card tweaker I suggest PowerStrip which should be available at same.
