I've been upgrading my computer case/mobo/ram/processor and when i turn my computer on my monitor gets completely no input at all! i've tried 2 different AGP cards and still nothing! i have an A7V266 btw

is it possible your proc is dead?

99% chance that your processor is dead.  Try the chip on a different board to make sure.

i don't see how the processor would be "dead" when i bought it only a few days ago. plus my computer has never been on without the heatsink on

Where did you buy the processor from?  Places like Fry's Electronics tend to sell a lot of crap.  Take it back(if you can) and have them test it.

the hell? my monitor problem magically fixed itself. maybe next time i should get a better name brand Geforce 2 than "Pine Excaliber" as long as it works....

lol. may have been the connection between the agp port and teh vid card.
