I have 5 profiles on my computer, running XP Home; 3 of the 5 don't have the
bottom taskbar (including start button), other 2 do have it. How do I get
the task bar back on those profiles?

First click the Ctrl key and the Esc key ( Ctrl + Esc) which should bring up
your start menu..if that does not work then the next thing to try is to
hold the mouse down at the very bottom of the screen until you see it turn
into a double sided arrow, one pointing up, the other pointing down. If
it does, in fact, become a double sided arrow, click and hold the left mouse
button down while sliding the mouse up, which will hopefully bring the
taskbar into view. Once that's done, right click an empty spot on the
taskbar> lock taskbar>properties>remove the tick next to 'hide taskbar'.

Thanks for the tips, but they didn't work. Still no taskbar.

Try #195 right hand column at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Use the script while logged onto one of the errant accounts.
If it works apply it to the other account while logged into them.
