My girlfriend does some graphic design stuff (2D graphics for shirts), and was looking for a way to move some of her video-tapes onto CDs.

Currently, she has an Athlon 750 (Slot A), Asus K7V, and Geforce 2 MX.

Should I go for a Radeon AIW (SDR or DDR), Radeon 7500 AIW, or some video capture card and leave the Geforce 2 MX.

I do have a system I can put the Geforce 2 MX in that is currently running an old Riva TNT (STB Velocity 4400), but that is not a big concern.

Is there a big difference between the Radeon AIW and the Radeon 7500 AIW? (the price difference is 15-20 on pricewatch)

Might as well get a Radeon 8500 retail. The extras such a card can provide for the money are not to be matched.

The Radeon 8500 doesn't have the video inputs I need. That's why I was looking at the Radeon AIW, 7500 AIW, or a video input card.

Any recomendations on that? and What is the speed difference on the Radeon AIW vs the 7500 AIW?

I don't know about that R7500AIW, but I have a Radeon AIW on a P4 1.4 RDRAM and on Win2K I can get 2700 in 3DMark 2001. In WinME I can get about 3200. If you said that the AIW 7500 is $10-20 more, I would definitely go with that.
