Need recomendations for Video Input Tags: Graphics Cards Video Geforce Radeon Graphics Last response: April 1, 2002 6:58 PM in Graphics & Displays Share bront March 30, 2002 6:58:06 PM My girlfriend does some graphic design stuff (2D graphics for shirts), and was looking for a way to move some of her video-tapes onto CDs. Currently, she has an Athlon 750 (Slot A), Asus K7V, and Geforce 2 MX. Should I go for a Radeon AIW (SDR or DDR), Radeon 7500 AIW, or some video capture card and leave the Geforce 2 MX. I do have a system I can put the Geforce 2 MX in that is currently running an old Riva TNT (STB Velocity 4400), but that is not a big concern. Is there a big difference between the Radeon AIW and the Radeon 7500 AIW? (the price difference is 15-20 on pricewatch) Trollin' trollin' trollin', keep them doggies postin', my fingers are swollen, Rawhide! I want to die like my Grandfather...in my sleep...not screaming in terror like his passengers. bront March 31, 2002 5:20:47 AM The Radeon 8500 doesn't have the video inputs I need. That's why I was looking at the Radeon AIW, 7500 AIW, or a video input card. Any recomendations on that? and What is the speed difference on the Radeon AIW vs the 7500 AIW? In WinME I can get about 3200. If you said that the AIW 7500 is $10-20 more, I would definitely go with that. bront April 1, 2002 5:12:52 PM Bump Trollin' trollin' trollin', keep them doggies postin', my fingers are swollen, Rawhide! williamc April 1, 2002 6:58:57 PM Good friend of mine's been doing this alot lately with this card: Visiontek Xtasy Everything.
