Search Companion mangled

I am running WIN XP MCE. I have three user accounts set up and all
have administrator privileges.

When I run "Search" from the main menu on two of the three accounts,
the left pane where the search input boxes and menus should be is
completely blank. Rover sits at the bottom of the pane but nothing
else exists.

The third account works just fine.

Any suggestions on how to repair this problem?
