Folks,

I recently got myself a fairly decent new PC having gone without for the last 18months or so. The basic specs are...
P4 1.6
Elite mobo (baaad, but cheap.)
256mb RAM
CD-RW
and a Geforce2 Ti graphics card.

My problem is that a friend of mine has a similar spec machine with an athlon chip and we really want to know whos runs games the best. Does anyone know how to test the frame rate in say Quake3 or MOHAA? If theres an easy way then I'd love to know.

Yeah, I know its a bit gay...

TIA,
J.

ran 3dmark 2000 and 2001 on each machine and you will find which system is better in general for games. download 3dmark from http://www.madonion.com

for frame rates in quake, i think amd_man knows the trick of that, ask him and he would tell you how

wish if there was UnDo in the life
