The right hand LED is constantly flashing 4 yellow flashes, followed by a
green flash.
This is happening all the time, independent of mains/battery power.

Does anyone know what this means?

The right hand LED indicates battery status. Flashing orange
(or dim yellow) means that the battery is low. If it happens
all of the time, then the battery is probably defective since
a following green light means that the battery is charging.
