I have a GeForce2 Ti (64MB DDR) at present and have the option of getting a GeForce4 440 MX (64MB) Both cards ar made by Leaktek. I was basicaly wondering if I would notic big improvement in quality /speed with the new card.

Thanks

If I were you I wouldn't go for the GF4MX as it is NV17 and not a "real" GF4 which is NV25. The DX8 on the MX cards is not good and I'd much rather go for the Ti4200 when it comes out. Also you could look into a R8500.

thanks for the advice. However I will be getting the card for nothing so I was wondering if it is better as I am not paying for it.

I'm not really sure. The benchmarks show the MX440 adn the GF2Ti about neck and neck. If you are getting it for nothingm then you may as well go for it and try it and see for yourself.

You'll be better off with the GF4 Mx. Same old tech ;) (well, almost), but better performance.

I picked up a Geforce4 MX-440 instead of a Geforce2 Ti. The difference was $12.50 so i went with the newer card. A Geforce 3 ti 200 was $60 more than the mx-440 and the geforce 4 ti.....don't even bother. The price is ridiculous. Seeing as you're getting it for free, take the damn thing!!
