Hi,
I have been having a problem the last week or so with Internet Explorer
shutting down, and displaying the message box that says -
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience.

I just update my Windows XP to the service pack 2 today, and I am still
having the problem. I have a eMachines computer - 2.4 Ghz with 1 Gig of
memory and of course using IE v6. Anything I can do to correct this problem
in the IE program. I have sent the error report to Microsoft, but you know
what happens with that info...

Thanks,

Dan

I'd start with a malware scan for that one. It seems the best place to start
given the information you've shared.
