I'll try and make this as simple as possible. I'm dealing with a new
network based on MS XP with SP2. All was going well until two computers
popped up with the same error message. There are three users on each
machine. The two have no log in problems but the third does. It is a
limited account and after login, a dialog box pops up saying something
like "Cannot acces desktop, C:\Documents and Settings\user\desktop is
not accessible." I've tried deleting the accout but that failed. I've
tried giving them administrator rights, that didn't work. I've look all
through everything I know or can find online but it's just not right.
Any ideas? Anything at all. Thanks

Strange, when I make new user acounts (on rare ocasions) and forget to
set fs permisons (so the user can actualy read data from the hard
drive and run explorer) I get no such error, I do how ever have to
restart the computer becasue the user can run nothing, not even cmd to
run a program as a diffrent user.
