I'm thinking about getting a g4 ti4600. I am running a athlon 1.2gig @266 with 512 of pc2100 ddr. I currently have a g2 ultra 64mb card in there now. Should i get it? Will there be much of a bottleneck with my system? is it worth it to get it now or should i wait until the 8x cards are released? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

That GF2 Ultra isn't a bad card at all. Unless you play really heavy heavy graphic games like aquanox, you should be perfectly fune with that card. GF4 Ti4600 are not very cost effective. They perform only 10-20% faster than the Ti4400 but they cost like $100US more. Same this with Ti4400 and Ti4200. If you get up to the very top end cards, the cost/performance ratio gets quite bad and it's not really worth it. I say wait for NV30 or R300 this fall and pick one up. If you're having trouble playing games right now and have the money for a Ti4600, go get it.
