I have a file four time in my msconfig startup section. Rundll32.exe,ptipbmf. I believe it is something to do with set write cache mode with the promise onboard on my MSI K7N2 delta board. I really don't need this four tiome do I? Thanks Bruce

All I found was this:

Installed with the miniport drivers for Promise hard drive controllers in both RAID and non-RAID installations. May be necessary in order to maintain preferences applied to the RAID array connected to the Promise controller.
Whether or not it should appear 4 times, or even if it is required ... you may have to contact Promise to get the definitive answer.
