I have a Radeon 32MB DDR card and have just downloaded the latest XP drivers, 6.13.10.6043. I like to keep up to date with new drivers for all my PC components. I cannot find anywhere on the ATI site that tells me what the improvements or changes are in the new drivers. Most other manufacturers websites tel you this before downloading,(3DFX were a good example of this). I will install the driver anyway, but does anyone know where I can find out what the changes are as I am interested to know?

if you read some of the threads here...some people will post their comments on drivers...
the 6043 for example was already talked about a while ago when it was a leaked driver (but now its an official driver)...
anyways...as for the driver detail...
for the 6043...its supposed to increase performance of the radeon family of cards by about 10-40% from the previous drivers (6037).
thats all i can really say other than the fact that there are also some bugs fixed (cant give you details on that cuz i dont know )....
anyways...just keep reading around this forum...you'll find what you're looking for.

When you install the new drivers a window will appear with a table of contents. Scroll down and it should tell you all the changes.

I can't think of a good signature so I'll use this one.

BTW, the 6058 drivers were leaked. Get them here:

what is better then a 7000 rpm, a 8000 rpm delta. to cause more noise to kill your ears

I've been using the 6058 drivers for Win2k and they've been great. I was having problems with certain avi codecs and Medal of Honor was crashing. Since I started using the 6058 drivers the avi's are okay and Medal of Honor hasn't crashed once. Also, my 3Dmark 2000 score went from 8300 to over 8500.

I can't think of a good signature so I'll use this one.
