I'll try to make this brief...
I have a standard n64 gameshark, and a gameshark pro.
I am trying to use either of these on both of the
zelda 64 games. It doesn't work. I put them in the
game shark, turn on the system and see just a black screen.
The game sharks work with other games, although the
pro seems to me to be a little more quirky and less reliable
than the standard one.

Not sure what that is or how to do it.
I have only had my game sharks for a short while and
they were used with no instructions or videos. I basically
only bought them for memory card management. The first three
I bought were defective. I ended up with two different
versions because a dealer gave me a freebie after all
the problems I had had.
I downloaded a
game shark tutorial somewhere, I'll look to see if
it says anything about it. I'm not too optimistic, though.
