Hi,
I have just bought a Video cable for my N64 with both Composite and
S-Video output.
My problem is that the picture is way too bright. In order to have an
acceptable picture I need to lower the brightness and the contrast of
my TV to very low levels.
It becomes then very difficult to have a correct balance, certain
things being too dark while others being still too bright.
I have the feeling that the N64 with this cable saturates the S-Video
and the Composite outputs, so I can not really correct the problem with
my TV settings anyway.
I use the S-Video and Composite inputs of my TV with other devices and
with satisfactory results. This problem is therefore specific to my N64
and this cable.
Using the N64 with the RF output does not show this issue (but of
course then the overall quality is bad for different reasons).
Has anyone have had the same issue with the Composite or the S-Video
output of their N64 ?
Thanks.
