In windows xp pro every 30 seconds my video skips it's getting irritating other than that my fram rates are about what they should be before tweaking i just installed xp and have been running win2k pro before.
Im am running the latest drivers on everything they are the same ones i used in xp.
System specs
AMd 1.4 @ 1.5
256 ddr 266 ram
ECS k7s5a motherboard
Asus gefoce 2 ti 64mb

Try defragging, and u don't have much RAM.

It ran fine in windows 2000 and why would i have to defrag if i did a clean format and install?

why is your FSB only at 66 mhz?...unless its 66 x 2 ~ 133....

My suggestions:

Kill the overclock. If a system starts acting strangely, this should be the first thing to go. That should be the number one priority when troubleshooting.
If this is video on a CD or a DVD, make sure that DMA is enabled.
Try the 23.12 drivers, if you don't like the 28.32s.

Have you installed the latest chipset drivers?

Why would you have to defrag after a clean format and install?

Answer ... to make your files, directories, and paging file contiguous. Of course you should defrag the partitions ... it's silly to think otherwise. Windows doesn't install itself neatly on a partition in an already contiguous block. If you are looking for higher performance and faster seek times ... defrag the disk.

My fsb was 138 in the test but 3dmark has problems with detecting it im not overcloaking it right now. I did a quadro 2 pro mod on it hardware and win 2k1 detected it as a quadro 2 pro but winxp doesn't this is the only thing i can see being the problem. My videos run fime i ment games like jedi knight II and 3dmark2k1 and cs.

Rivatuner will only work with up to 23.11. Past that there is a protection, which screws the whole driver. Furthermore, for the software hack, it doesn't need to say Quadro in Windows- that's just what programs will see it as. Take off the quadro hack, as that may be ur prob.

It is installed as a geforce 2 ti but i set the resisters on the card to a quadro 2 pro

Oh, u did a reistor mod. Hmm. did ya flahs the bios right?

I flashed it with the nvidia refrence bios and my card worked fine in win2k with almost the exact same drivers as im runing now.

I've got the same motherboard and it shows a FSB of 66Mhz in madonion too. I've never figured out why, but I'm postive that it's not at 66Mhz.
