i'm getting my radeon 8500 tomorrow, it's a HIS Excalibur Radeon 8500 64MB 275core/memory. obviously it is "powered" by ATI, and when i went to ATI.com for the latest driver, i found that there are 2 different version of drivers, ones is listed under " powered by ATI driver" which is called a reference driver, and one is the offical "built by ATI driver" listed under "built by ATI", so dose it matter which driver i use? i mean the Nvidia board are all made by 3rd party manufacturers, and they all utilizes detonator. so does this " Built by ATI driver" released by ATI works the same way as Detonator? can i just inistall the "Built by ATI driver", even thou i'll running a 3rd party board? need a reply urgent ..thanx guys
