How to reprogram an Ultraracer 64 controller?

I bought a used Ultraracer controller that seems to have been
reprogrammed so that the trigger on the bottom no longer functions as a
throttle. Could someone tell me how to program this controller, or
reset it to its defaults, to fix this? I don't have a manual and google
was no help (except finding out that it can be reprogrammed and the
settings are sticky). Thanks!
