I've been raising a Nintendog puppy named Griffin for about a week now.
He's a Husky, and pretty docile. He knows four commands so far: his
name, sit, lie down, and roll over. I'm having a bit of trouble getting
him to bring back the frisbee after I throw it in the park, though. I
tried the frisbee tournament with him and failed miserably, so I
thought I should train him in the park for long catches. It's working,
but I can't get him to return to me in a timely manner. He ends up
lying down and playing with the frisbee until I say his name multiple
times, and then he finally pays attention to me and brings it back. Any
suggestions?

If you're raising a Nintendog, what breed do you have?

I am raising a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Ein. She knows her name, sit
down, lie down, roll over, beg, shake, and jump. She took2nd in the open
disc competition and 1st in the next higher level. She has problems with
the agility course and is a bit slow in the obedience trials. She loves to
go for walks and has found many presents for me on our walks. She is doing
great. I alternate dry and canned fod and water and milk. I take her for a
lot of walks and just pet her and practice tricks. I am almost to the point
where I might get another puppy. I havr the cash, but I think I will wait.

does anyone know if the different regional versions of Nintendogs are
compatible with each other? like, if i import the US edition, will i be
able to link with a Euro/UK version? i really want the game and dont
want to wait...but it would be a shame if i cant play with my mates.

The game is simple, but it is fun. Kind of like a Harvest Moon or Animal
Crossing. It will keep you busy trying to win the competitions and getting
the accessories.

Get Dogz 5 for £8 for the PC from Play.com instead - there is far more to do
and you can have more than one canine as well. Plus you can download lots
of extras for free that people have come up with.

With Nintendogs you can have 3 active dogs and another 5 in the puppy hotel.
So you are not limited to 1.
