Installing windows 7 on hp dv6700 laptop

how do i install windows 7 on my hp dv6700 laptop ????? i get this message unable to recognize the Hard drive. plz any1 help me!!!!

sorry its actually vista and it is the oem version

you'll have to reformat your harddrive first

make sure you backup all the files you want to save first
