powercolor 8500 vs Pixelview mx440

I have to choose between a powercolor radeon 8500 and a prolink pixelview mx 440. Both costs the same. I have noit too many options cause i live in Chile (southamerica) and the other graphic cards are just too expensive for my budget.

Some people told me that I should choose the radeon because of the directx8 but I've heard that the radeons by powercolor sucks.

I would go with Radeon 8500, better performance and picture quality than Geforce 4 MX 440

And the 8500 has an up and comming technology called True Form which makes rounded objects appear more rounded.
