Hello, my pc can connect to the internet properly but when i try to diagnose it it says
"Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding" anyone knows how to solve it... i live in the philippines by the way..,
Go to tools, internet options, connections, lan, make sure the use proxy server is not checked, if it is you have a Virus, and need to scan with avira, malwarebytes, adaware, spybot search and destroy.
I'm having a similar problem with a cable modem and wireless. The cable modem keeps dropping its connection to the ISP. After unplugging and replugging the cable modem goes through its cycle and then stops with either the send or recieve light slowly blinking, but the online light doesn't come on. Cycling the power eventually gets a connection. Then it will drop the connection after a few minutes or a few hours.
So maybe your problem is with the ISP and not the wireless router.
when I google for information about anything I can only access few websites, most the websites return saying DNS ERROR, unable to access the website. I tried winsock softwarre, pagefix software, flusg DNS, LISTEN, REFORMATTED MY LAPTOP, DISABLED MY ANTIVIRUS FIREWALL SETTING , RAN THE ANTIVIRUS FOR VIRUS, TIRED TO ACCESS USING IP ADDREES, USED for eg ping www.ragalahari.com it says request time out. Im able to access the website using a proxy, ealier i never got this error, now everytime i need to get to proxy to access lost of the websites.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
•Internet connectivity has been lost.
•The website is temporarily unavailable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.
