This thing just disappeared from the web, its bizzare. There's the slower clocked 8500LE, and of course lots of OEMs (230/230) but the 8500 Retail (275/275) what happened to it?

I've seen a few around, though not in the past 2 weeks, however, ATI might be trying to push the 128 MB 8500s now, which have significanly droped in price, while preping for their new card to be coming out in the next few months.

They've shipped the lot of them to Europe, where the 64MB 8500 DDR is the top-end card. ATi haven't released the retail 8500 128MB DDR (LE or otherwise) in Europe yet.

The 64MB version is readily available here, still a great little card.

No, I think it's for the Pentium 5, "The Center of Your S&M World".

Somehow Pentium 5 strikes me as redundant .. or did it just come full circle ?

Hey it all works out. Crashman'll give you his P5 and you got the mobo... Give me some benches after you put it together. Remember the 1KW power supply or it won't run!!
