I have a 815e and was using the builtin video card (dont frown I dont play games) and I am not sure what I installed, (maybe codecs or something) and all of a sudden I had no video overlay capability, which meant that I could not view anythign on my TV tuner by Creative. Okay so I installed TNT2 M64 card that was lying around and have the same issue. no view overlay,. The nvidia latest drivers have been installed and the tab for overlay is all greyed out.
I ran DXDIAG and it says DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP are all diabled. well I guess the AGP would be sinec I have a PCI card? I installed Directx downloading the latest version. as well tried both latest versions for the 815 and The TNT. I do not have a dual monitor setup (as overlay does not work in it) and have diabled the onboard VGA.
