Have a simple question.

?Does the performence of high end graphics cards decrease without a prober sound card?
In other words do you need a high end sound card to take full advantage of your high end graphic card.

Me and a friend have been debating this issue all night and need a settlement.

NO. You may get better gameplay from better speakers and sound card, but in frames/sec there would be no difference. A sound card only affects sound quality.

Most so called "high end" soundcards actually DECREASE your frame rates, because they require so much CPU power. But they do make the experience more enjoyable.
