I have a Problem with my PC, it freezes randonly or
the PC just restarts. I do nothing specific.

I have a VIA K7T266 Pro-2 RU Mainboard with a KT266A
Chipset, an Athlon XP 1800+, 512MB Kingston CL2 and a
Creative GeForce4 Ti4400. I´m runnig Windows 2000
(SP2). Nothing is overclocked! :-D

When I change the GeForce4 to a GeForce2MX, the System
runs stable!! So it must be the Graphic Card. So I have searched in the Internet Newsgroups and found many people with the same problem. But there is no solve for the Problem!
What´s about the new Nvidia Drivers? Or the New Beta from VIA? Or is there a Patch?
I´ve tried all things possible, but now i´m running out of ideas! HELP ME!!!

Probably the VIA Chipset is incompatible with GeForce4.
I´ve been reading all the Newsgroups and Forums, and I think now that´s only a problem of the GeForce4.

check the following maybe it'll help

run optimal setting in bios see if it helps
check if you power supply puts out enough watts ( remove couple of components and test the system )
reinstall all driver, and directx 8.1

that's all i can think of at the moment. anyone else got any better ideas?
