ATI Rage Pro

I have an older ATI 3D Rage Pro. After a recent hard drive and bios upgrade, my video has gone to crap. It is clear in the middle but blurry on the edges. Is the an indication of a bad card?

  1. I'd say "older". It's freakin' ancient. Get rid of it and buy something newer.

AMD Athlon XP 1900+, Asus A7V333, 512mb DDR RAM
    PNY Geforce4 Ti4400, Win2k
  2. If you're running a really high resolution (greater than 1024x768) then that's probably causing the display problems. The older cards all have slow RAMDACs.

This little cathode light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine!
  3. That's nothing! I still have a 1995 ATI Xpression (a 2D only card) lying around!!!
