How HOT is your original GF3?

Hi all, this is my first post.

I had a GF4 4400 but sold it at a good price because I will wait for the NV30. In the meantime Im using my ol' original GF3 but IT IS WAY HOT! the fan wasn't working anymore and I attached a power supply fan to the heat disipator. It works, but as I said is really hot, and of course it was hotter with only the original fan.

The GF4 was extremely cold at all times, and Im worried about my GF3 and about if I made the smart choice and that stuff.. anyway, how about your GF3 fellow members?

My GF2MX without a heatsink or fan burns my hand if I touch the core for too long? It's still functioning though.

Thanks. In my case, the GF3 is as hot if no more as my Athlon XP, I guess between 40 and 55 grades...

I have the original visiontek gf3 and i havent noticed any significant heat but havent checked either!

Athlon XP 1700+,KT266A,Geforce3, Audigy.. 'nuff said.

You're fine, it's ok for it to be that hot.

i dono, i kinda have this thing against touching boards when their connected and on....
