Help needed with a GF3 Ti200!

I got this installed this morning along with a Creative 5.1 soundcard on a windows XP Pro OS

I got the latest drivers etc. but whenever i try to play a game, it crashes! windows, game n all! even the mouse stops moving!

here's the specs of my puter best as I know them:

AMD Athlon 1.0ghz
386 SDRAM
Windows XP Pro
GF3 Ti200 64mb
Creative 5.1

Can ne1 help me then? thanks =)

What's your motherboard? Do you have the latest chipset drivers? And what's the rating of your power supply?
