Canada Computers has the Radeon 9000 Pro! The R9700 shouldn't be far behind!

I won't be impressed unless a 9700 suddenly appears in my computer.
No kidding!

I am impressed by HardOCP's <A HREF="http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MzMw" target="_new">"non-review"</A> of the 9700. I mean 25% higher performance with 4X AA and 16X AF at 1600x1200 over Ti4600 with no AA or AF using UT2003. 300% performance advantage over Ti4600 with AA!

what will be the best or at least cheapest system you can have to play the latest and upcoming games like UT2003 with all R9700's enhancements in half or all enabled in maximum settings? what system can liveup to that and survive? will my AXP 1800+with 768 MB DDR RAM handle that or can the 2200+ do?

Yeah, a Radeon 9700 and an Athlon XP 1800+ should be able to play UT2003 at any resolution at maximum settings including FSAA and Aniso.

1800+ will be way to slow compare to a the 9700 at lease 2200+ (with a good 0.13) overclock will squeeze every thing out of the game.

The day i meet a goth queen that tell me Intel suck.I turn in a lemming to fill is need in hardware.

well to be with reality I can't afford the 9700 but maybe just the 9000...but how about my current R8500 64MB...will I be able to max out ANIS and FSAA without slowing performance? I'll also try that tom when I start playing WC3 all week!!! then imma try it on CS...then MOHAA...and all the games! hehehe

Check out the sick, sick price of the 250/275 clocked R8500 at newegg. $91.50 (shipping included)?
