Aight, ya'll. I lost all my messages somehow, so I need your advice
again on a Druid character. For the first time, I am going to
actually try to do a build on a character to see how much easier it is
than the way I've been doing it.

I don't know, I just like trying to get by using all different types
of spells and abilities for different situations. The bad part is I
often spread it out too thinly and it becomes damn near impossible to
beat Hell.

I want to use a werewolf build. Can you guys please advise me on what
you think about it?

Also, help me with a werebear build; me and my roomie are going in as
wolf/bear together to see if we can do well.

Thanks!

I never played enough druid to be comfortable enough to give somebody advice
doing it, but basically, don't throw away points on low level skills--and if
it was me, I'd save my pet skill points for the bear.

If you're just knocking around for the heck of it your wolf/bear combo is
ok, but druids kill sloooowww--even slower than barbs--no matter what form.
I'd think maybe about one of you building something that can help speed
things up a bit. If you don't want a speed killer like a sorc, heh, even an
assy would be a help IMO.

If you need to email, then chainbreaker (naturally) at comcast dot
net--that's "net" not "com"--should do it.

Most popular is the Fury build. Max Fury, Werewolf, Lycanthropy and Oak
sage. One point in Carrion Vine. With a fast weapon with lots of
increased attack speed, the Fury Werewolf can deal a lot of damage and
has a lot of hit points. He is quite weak against the physical immunes
found in Hell though.

Another variant is the Rabies Druid: With max Rabies and Poison Creeper,
he kills things by turning them green. Quite fun to play in Normal and
Nightmare. For Hell, you have to give him with _very_ special equipment
if you still want to have fun.

Fun with pets? Want to be the alpha of the pride? Put only a few points
in Werewolf/Lycanthropie and focus on the Spirit/Dire wolf. This build
is probably the easiest to play in Normal, still fun in Nightmare, but
in Hell you will hit the wall even with the best equipment.

Sounds like fun to me :). More for the wolf than for the bear player
though. Werebear builds have to mayor issues to cover: attack speed and
attack rating. You will need some good equipment here. On the other
hand, he has the ability to stun critters with Shockwave (a must for
every Werebear, around 10 points are sufficient). If you want to play as
a team, this approach can work quite well: The wolf for the offensive
part while the bear takes care for the defence.
