dang blast and bother.

i believe my old backup IBM 16GP has finally died.

been making odd "head park" kinda noises the past 2 weeks.
only ever made them half a dozen times in its lifetime, but last week it was doing one every 15 mins or so.

strangely enough, a full DFT of both drives came up completely clean!

yet my PC just wouldnt boot, halting at random points somewhere before or just after windows startup. only disconnecting the 16GP let me boot and run ok.

got most of my MP3's off. missed a few that are easy to replace, and i also got most of the rest off, my utilities.
things that i didt get off are the downloads from the past week. annoying, but not the end of the world.

i wonder... what can i now do with a 2+ year old drive

I have 6 or 7 of her video clips in mpeg, for the kids of course. How can we understand the homo mind when we see her perform. I mean it's genetically programmed. Hardwired directly to the brain. No FREAKING error in programming.

P.S. i dont care for britney. predictably manufactured songs, dancing and stage show lovingly described by a friend as "soft porn stripping for teenagers", pushing the cute/sexy/vixen image for all its worth and then some.

i want to get a couple of last files off, so i dont have to re download them all.
using win2k comand line, i can happily copy from the fat32 drive to my NTFS cant i?

I listen to oldies (the music is just soo much more rich), and my friend and I flipped on the radio, and turned to a modern music radio station. The music is just soo dead! Then, we passed by a few guys pretending to be cool and all, nodding there heads and repeating a song the words were "Duh Duh Duh Duh" repeated over and over again! Jesus, what has become of music!!?? Anyways, I have a girl in my school who looks like Britney- but the girl looks better than britney.

the decline started when they put looks over talent.

besides... lack of singing tallent can be covered up with music, dancing, choreography and dubbing.

and brittney may look good, but she's gonna face a big downward turn when she outgrown the virgin/vixen look.

Yep. She´s a terrible singer alright.
She and the "other" bunch in the same genre uses computers to make up for their bad voices, they´re using programs like Antares, hell, even I could sing with a little help from that program!
