Geforce 3 perofmrance on 3dmark2001 help please

I need some help with my Geforce3 from Visiontek. It is overclocked to 215/550 and I get an extra 600 3dmarks from the OC. Anyways, I only get around 6200 3dmarks. My system specs are:

Athlon XP 1600+
ASUS A7V266 (VIA chipset NOT ALI!!!)
Visiontek Geforce3 OC'ed at 215/550
WD 30GB ata/100 HDD
768MB DDR PC2100 RAM

My drivers are 30.30 and I tweaked it a little from what I know with Riva Tuner. I should at least be getting 7000 3dmarks from comparing to other systems. I have even seen people with the same systems getting up to 8000.
If you could tell me what specific tweaks I should do, or what to do in BIOS or whatever, please tell me I am open to anything at this point. Thanks.

yea, your specs do seem a lil low, check to see if your ram's set to 2T. Also try turning off anything that you don't use (like usb or serial ports.)

Yeah everything is at the correct specifications. I'm kinda stumped on it, because by default I should be getting 7000 alone, and with the overclock I think I should be at least at 7500. I don't mind having 6000, but when I am playing a massive game I could have at least 50 frames instead of something like 20 where I lag like hell if you know what I mean. I'm just hoping to get this problem resolved because the performance is just terrible. I also have it on maximum performance.
