ThrowBarb with HF Merc in Hell

Hi,

I'm building my second ThrowBarb (SP) and am using a HF merc this time.
They have just reached Hell Act2 this evening and went for Radament.

At level 75 and maxxed Throwing abilities (Throw Mastery, Double Swing) and
one point in Double Throw, I am doing about 3.5K damage per Throwing axe.
Alternate attack is Conc with an Kingslayer axe and shield on switch.

Merc was using Hone Sundan, Delirium helmet and Gloom armor for the
resists.

At /players 2, we soon found out my merc was dieing quite often. The Hone
was socketed with 2 AMN and a SHAEL, so 14% life leech should be enough?
OTOH, without a Might aura, it didn't do really much damage.

After killing Radament (and paying some good cash for merc revives), I went
through my equipment stash and his older brother (my level 89 Throwbarb)
lent him his Reaper's Toll.. So, merc is now wearing Reaper's, still the
Gloom armor and a Stealskull (for even more life leech)..

I gave the Delirium helmet to my barb (instead of Harlequin crest), which
isn't too bad, as the 1% chance to morph is based "on struck". As I stay
back somewhat while throwing, I don't get hit too often..

So, we went down again at /players 3 and I can tell you, the Holy Freez +
Decrep combo really rocks.. All about blue enemies with blue auras above
them. Or several that are confused or terrored from Delirium.

There are at least 10+ boss packs down there including crowds with 2 or
three bosses inside. Cleared levels 1 and 2 and got to level 76. Then my
inventory was full, so I had to quit and mule stuff with ATMA.

Down again, cleared levels 1 and 2 and got to level 77. Merc levelled just
a little later and is 77, too.

So, it took about 3 hours from level 75 to 77 (meaning from 464 millions to
currently 539 = 75 million exp).

As usually, I found another Paladin's grand charm (+1 offensive aura
skills, +17 life)..

Current skills:
Throwing Mastery 20, Axe Mastery 5, Iron Skin 3, Natural Resist 4
Double Swing 20, Double Throw 1, Conc 1
Shout 2, Battle Orders 16, Battle Commands 2

Experience chart says Hell Act2 is perfect until level 80, so I'll spend
some more time in Radament's lair..

You don't actually have to quit to run ATMA, as the LOD program
backs up to file after every X changes (not sure what X is,
just kill stuff for a minute to get some XP or maybe buy sell
back and forth to a vendor). If you then minimize, you
can run Atma and the items transferred to your stash or
anothe char will be duped since the item remains in memory
on your in game char. Sell it to the vendor at this point if
you don't want the dupe.
