I want to upgrade from my AIW Pro 128. The main reason is to record TV shows to ultimately burn to VCD/SVCD or DVD. My 128 has a crappy picture, even at the best settings. My 3 choices are AIW 7500, AIW 8500 64, or AIW 8500 128. Which of these 3 will be best for me? Thanks for your advise-

I read somewhere (can't remember which eval site anymore) the 7500's "tin can" tuner provides a better picture than the "chip" tuner on the 8500. So, I bought the cheaper 64mb 7500 AIW. The TV picture is pretty sharp and so is the capture. Everything on the 7500AIW works fine for me except for DVD dolby playback.
