HELP AGP card runs only in PCI mode

Please help!
I tried a lot but I didnt succeed that my Prophet II MX runs in AGP mode. (Bios 3.11.0018)
Bios of Motherboard updated (ASUS A/V, VIAKT133)
PCI slot 1 empty
Installed latest 4in 1 driver from VIA
Installed Hercules latest driver for this card... but if I check Bios settings of the then AGP is disabled!! In the System bios it is enabled (Auto)
Anyone out there who can give me a hint what to do??

Powerstrip was the only way to solve the problem

You should have 3 choices in BIOS. Auto, AGP, PCI. Take it off of Auto and put it on AGP. If that doesnt work try Powerstrip. If that doesnt work all I can think of is a new mainboard, or take it to a local pro and see if they can tell you whats up with it.

If its not broke dont fix it.
