to eprom or not to eeprom

hey help a newbie
i try to flash my video card bios geforce 2 mx400 with tv out
64 mb i reboot then type i the comand then it starts then i get as follows
"chipname =nv11 (11oh)
vendor id =10deh
device id =011oh
open g2mxch.rom succeful
checking for supported eeprom
eeprom man id device code (55,aa)
it is eprom,flash bios must be eeprom"
then i get the flashing A:> promt
what is the memory on the card wrong or what

To flash your card, you must have EEPROM which stands for electrical erazeable programable read only memory. The EPROM is not electrical erazeable, and can only eraze with UV light. Therefore your card is not flashable. Some GF2 use EPROM or maybe just ROM instead of EEPROM. Your card is fine just that it cannot be flashed.
