There is a R8500 OEM at newegg.com for about that price. It's actually sold under the name R8500LE though. Look through the user reviews. They all say it's clocked at 250/275 and have 3.3ns RAM. It's great price!!

 Finally, I get a capitalized title!! WOOT!!

put it this way, GF3ti is a generation behind the GF4 & the R8500 & the R8500 is a DX 8.1 card, the GF3ti isn't...

There are no stupid questions... just lots of inquisitive idiots...

Here it is.

<A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?description=14-102-226" target="_new">http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?description=14-102-226</A>

Just prior to the launch of the Radeon 9000/9000 Pro and the Radeon 9700 announcement, ATi cancelled production of 8500 cards. But there's good news.

Gigabyte, it seems, is taking over. Their 64AD (64MB version of their 8500 card) is poised to take over this cheap and high performance 64MB card segment. Already there is one web site selling the 64AD for ~$90. I expect in the coming weeks for more to follow.

Also the Radeon 9000 (regular version) is extremely cheap for a new product, at ~$80 on most web sites.
