3d benchmarking software?

I have several older video cards that I would like to compare, especially in the area of 3D performance. Where can I obtain some good benchmarking software? What software does Tom's Hardware use? Are there any tips I should know? I have Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0, and XP.

Are u wanting perfomance in games or in software like CAD. In overall 3d performance u could compare all of the video cards using 3dMark2001SE. You can find it at madonion.com and its very easy to use.
