Need to build a Paladin...

I'm currently making a HC paladin. He uses Defiance, Holy Shield , LvL 4
Zeal for 5 hits, but eventually will have the 3 resist auras with points in
them and alot of points into Vengeance. I'm sick of dying against Oblivian
Knights and that wretched curse Iron Maiden. LoL!
