Which is better

after I read the report from tom's graphic guide, I still not sure what is the different between radeon 8500 and 9000 pro. the price is similar. which is better?

The R8500 is better. It can perform 2 textures per pipeline per clock and the R9000 can only do 1.

Like chucky said 8500 is better but if you are planning to buy a new card then wait for a few weeks, add a little money
and buy R9500.It's really worth it.
