GeForce2 GTS Sans Fan?

Hi Guys,
My GeForce2 GTS Pro has a dying fan, I have a Slot fan (Blower some call it?) in the slot next to my GeForce2 Card, if I nuke the fan is that enough cooling, or do I still need to replace it? The reason is I'm finding it hard to find a replacement, Blue Orbs, and that is it, What is the recommendation?

Anything will do as long as it can fit.

Most 40mm fans fit most graphics heatsinks but increase the thickness of the card. They are also quieter and cool better.
